GOSA Global is the worldwide community of alumni from Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua (GHANASS) — the Beacon of the East. Founded in 1943, our alma mater has produced generations of leaders across politics, law, media, sports, and academia. We are united by the motto “Pro Patria” (For Our Fatherland) and our commitment to uplifting the school and its students.

Our Story & Mission
Originally founded as Phoenix College in 1943 by Fred Addae and Francis Adjei-Tetebo with just sixteen boys, Ghana Senior High School has grown into one of the nation's most respected institutions in Koforidua, Eastern Region. Known affectionately as “The Beacon of the East,” the school sits on a 1,100-acre residential campus and educates over 3,700 students today.
GOSA Global is committed to supporting our alma mater through infrastructure development, scholarship programs, and mentorship initiatives. With chapters across the world, we carry forward the school's proud slogan: Beacon! Shine!
